HURST/OLDS (1969) Page 3

7. The special Hurst engineered, fresh air package is designed for optimum
performance and exceeds Government and local "smog" reguirements. The unit
is vacuum controlled to employ warm, engine compartment air for low speed
operation and total outside forced cold air under acceleration and at idle.*

8. A hi-rise manifold with standard Rochester Quadrajet carburator replaces
the stock unit to increase engine "breathing" and offer better fuel distribution
     under power.

9. Eye appealing H/O appliques dress up the engine compartment and include special
die-cast rocker covers and bright metal components.

10. A custom installed, Hurst Dual/Gate hi-performance automatic shifter replaces
      the standard shifting mechanism.

11. A street/strip, low restriction, 2 1/2" OD exhaust system, incorporating low back
pressure mufflers, is also proposed to increase breathing efficiency. (Drag
tests have shown a 6 MPH increase over stock without other modifications.)

* Hood mounted fresh air ram scoops offer more efficiency than close-to-road
intakes, especially during high temperature periods when road temperatures
are equal to, or exceed, under hood temperatures.

INTERIOR

12. Interior treatment on the '69 H/O touches on the conservative, but tasteful,
revamping of the standard headrests and custom upholstered center console,
     with special insignia.

13. The rear deck, front fenders, grille, engine compartment and dash all bear
     custom-designed, classic H/O emblems.
